AODA Disruption Notice - Posted February 22, 2012

Location:
109 and 111 Brien Avenue East, Essex Ontario

Reason:
Cleaning and waxing of the stairwell tiled floors.

Duration:
Saturday, February 25, 2012 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Alternatives:
One stairwell in each building will be closed for cleaning and waxing, and the other stairwell will remain open. Once one is completed the Contractor will proceed to the other stairwell. Both stairwells will NOT be closed at the same time.

Location:
2455 Rivard Avenue

Reason:
1 of 3 operating elevators will not be available to residents

Duration:
Friday, February 17, 2012 8:00 am - 4:00 pm

Alternatives:
2 elevators will remain operational. Stairwells will remain clear and accessible.

AODA Disruption Notice - Posted February 14, 2012

Location:
140 Bridge Avenue, Ash Grove Manor

Reason:
8 resident parking spots temporarily unavailable due to installation of perimeter safety fencing. The perimeter safety fencing is required to enclose these parking spots to safely guard the perimeter of the building, while the window installation project is underway.

February 15- 2012 March 28, 2012

Alternatives:
For vehicles that are affected, CHC has obtained the following alternate parking option provided below. 1. Parking will also be available along Bridge St. by City of Windsor parking permit only. CHC has obtained the permits ( at no charge to residents). They are available at the 140 Bridge St. office, for those 8 residents affected.

AODA Disruption Notice - Posted January 27, 2012

Location:
120 Oak Street - Cherniak Manor, Windsor, Ontario

Reason:
Front Entrance Restoration - New Front Canopy and Stair Improvements- Covered Walkway Extension - Barrier Free Ramp Repairs.

Duration:
Monday January 30, 2012 7:30 am - Monday February 13, 2012 TBD

Alternatives:
The first stages of the restoration will involve the ramp only. The front stairs will remain open. Residents may exit and enter the building using the front stairs while the ramp restoration is underway. Those requiring accomodation may access the building via the graded entrance on the NW side of the building. Should you have guests or visitors requiring ramp access you will be required to meet the individual at the graded entrance on the NW side of the building, as the door remains locked from the outside for security purposes.
