Our local medical officer of health is recommending residents wear cloth masks when they are in locations where physical distancing may be a challenge.
- WECHU recommends the wearing of cloth mask when going outdoors when maintaining physical distancing of 6 feet is not possible or difficult. Examples included grocery shopping, public transit.
- This provides an additional layer of protection.
- When wearing a cloth mask, it stops YOU from spreading germs and protects OTHERS from your germs.
- Mask usage does not remove physical distancing, handwashing, limiting trips to public places and staying home if sick.
