On March 15, 2021, all eyes were smiling on Windsor, Ontario for St. Patrick’s Day as the Federal Government announced financial support to create new, affordable homes in Windsor and Essex County.
Windsor Essex CHC is pleased to announce two new projects.
Thanks to the infusion of funding from The Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation's Rapid Housing Initiative, The City of Windsor and CHC will be building 12 new, affordable rental homes in The Bloomfield Community. We expect the homes will be substantially completed by the end of 2022.
We are looking forward to sharing details of the new construction and connecting with the Bloomfield community as the project moves forward.
Our Project Liaison Manager, Michelle Gaudette, will be in the community to help guide you through the process. Look for opportunities to have your say in the coming weeks. More information will be available in your mailbox as the planning process continues.
