On May 11, 2022, we held our inaugural Spring Has Sprung Fling at Essex Court.
We had activities for the youth including a colouring contest, and a little gardening activity. Community partners from the Unemployed Help Centre, the Windsor Essex Community Health Centre, and Windsor Family Navigation volunteered for the event. Special shout out to UHC Food Bank who donated flats of veggies (potatoes, cucumbers, tomatoes, peppers) for each household, as well as a healthy snack for the children.
We had about 125 participants from our Essex Court community. 207 flats of veggies and the 180 healthy snack packs were completely gone by the end of the event.
