CHC is an independent local housing corporation, with a Board of Directors appointed by the City of Windsor.
The City of Windsor is the sole shareholder of CHC on behalf of the City of Windsor and the County of Essex.
CHC is governed by a dedicated and passionate Board of Directors, committed to ensuring that quality, affordable housing is available to all tenants in our community. Our board brings together a diverse range of leaders whose expertise includes governance, housing, finance, accounting, legal matters and community development. Together, they provide leadership, oversight and strategic direction to CHC, working collaboratively with staff and community partners to deliver housing solutions that promote dignity, well-being and sustainability.
The Board plays a critical role in shaping the vision and policies that guide CHC’s operations and ensuring transparency, accountability, and the effective use of resources. Their efforts contribute to building stronger, more vibrant communities in Windsor and Essex County.
